We guarantee that all our feedback is genuine and can only be submitted by people who have booked through our websites.
Miss Henrietta Winsor, July 2015: Fantastic little place in the middle of the old gothic quarter in Barcelona. The sisters were lovely and very friendly although don't speak English so knowing some Spanish or Catalan is very useful!
Ms Elizabeth Rogers, July 2015: Great central location, very clean, very welcoming, had eggs cooked and coffee made very morning for breakfast by one of the ladies who also cleaned there.
Ms Susan Harper, July 2015: Thank you to everyone who made me feel so welcome and comfortable. If I am in Barcelona again I will stay here again.
Ms Gillian Goerz, July 2015: I loved the experience, location, and kindness of the everyone involved. There is some contradictory, confusing and incorrect information on the website (on the English version) that could be cleared up, but it didn't affect my experience. A fan in the room would be helpful during the heatwave. :)
Ms Willemien van Hoepen, January 2015: I had a wonderful stay! The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. I aappreciated the free WiFi as well as the PC with full Internet access. Although communication with the sisters were difficult (I can't speak Spanish or French) they were so friendly and made me feel at home. A real gem of a place!
Sra. Montserrat Sampol Quintana, December 2014: Trato con cariño
Ms Patricia Herbert, October 2014: Extremely friendly and helpful welcome. Could not be in a better location - so central!
Dr Berengere ABOU, September 2014: excellent location, beautiful room. The sisters are very kind and helpful. You must be back in the residence by 12 PM.
I recommend for a peaceful stay.
Prof Elda Wilmot, August 2014: The nuns are very sweet and welcoming. The breakfast is not very good. The rooms are excellent. I would go back certainly.
Mr brian mcgonigle, July 2014: The nuns here are delightful and the rooms are small, but well lit and nicely and adequately furnished. We visited in late July when it was hot outside, in the high 80s, and we really felt the lack of air conditioning. Also some of the rooms open to the street which is very noisy at night and I mean until 3am as there's a bar below some of the rooms. If you're looking for a very nice single room at a good price in a great area, and don't mind the above then it's terrific. If I was a couple I would try for a hotel that had ac as the price might be comparable. Breakfast was average. There's a 12midnight curfew.
Mr Fraser Tait, July 2013: Fantastic value for money, very welcoming and hospitable. Great location for exploring the City and its beaches. Kids had a great time - as did we.
Our hosts were welcoming and helpful. The accommodation was ideal for four of us.
Miss Veronika Bilkova, May 2013: I did not regret a second I had booked the room at this student residence. I felt like getting services of a hotel for the price of a hostel.
The room was nice, spacious and absolutely clean, with its own bathroom and internet included. Breakfast was very good.
The sisters managing the residence are very nice and helpful. They speak Spanish and French. The residence is right in the centre of Barcelona, five minutes from the cathedral and from the nearest metro station.
It is an excellent base for discovering Barcelona.
If I go back to Catalunya, I would definitely try to stay at this residence again. Thanks a lot for everything!
Miss Sandra Rizek, May 2013: Very friendly, welcoming place. Staff was helpful. Room was kept clean. Great location in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona. I had a hard time finding it the first night, so more specific directions would be helpful. Would stay there again. Loved Barcelona.
